Top K-pop diet foods


When you start dieting you might wonder what are the most popular diet foods within the idols and Korean celebrities. I made a list of the foods they mention the most when talking about their diets and why you should be eating them!


SWEET POTATOES
Sweet potatoes are really popular with idols. A complex carbohydrate full of fiber that helps with digestion. Can be consumed daily without problems.
Tip: they're good for you by itself! Don't think of adding too much butter or salt when eating them. The ideal would be baking, steaming or boiling it.


TOFU
Good source of vegetarian protein. Ideal for those who have to watch their cholesterol levels.
Tip: I like to eat tofu in my misoshiro...


CHICKEN BREAST
Another good source of lean protein.
Tip: just like the sweet potatoes, you should cook it in a healthy form like baking, steaming or boiling it.


VEGETABLES
Low in calories, packed with vitamins and fiber. It is a must for anyone who is dieting and wants to lose weight/have beautiful skin.
Tip: They're best raw as cooking eliminates some of its nutrients.


FRUITS
It is no news that fruit is good for you. Idols know that and it's one of their favorite foods. Fruits such as bananas, apples and cherry tomatoes are especially popular with idols.
Tip: fruits are the perfect snack food!


BROWN RICE
Better than its counterpart white rice that is quickly absorbed, brown rice is a whole grain that idols eat instead of white rice.
Tip: just replace your white rice with brown rice, it'll make a difference on the long run.
