SNSD’s diet revealed gets netizens talking


The revelation of So Nyeo Shi Dae‘s diet which is no more than 800kcal a day, and not even half of the amount that an adult should take, has become the topic amongst netizens.
Previously on MBC ‘VJ Special – Behind Story’ aired on 17th December, the girls’ diet were reveald on the show. All 9 members’ diet consists of mainly fruits and vegetables like squash, bell tomatoes and salads, which contains no carbohydrates or fats. Also, it was revealed that the girls will eat cucumber when they feel hungry.
When the girls go on broadcast programs, they will take 200kcal for breakfast and 300kcal for both lunch and dinner – totaling up to 800kcal a day. For a female adult, the amount of intake a day should be about 2000kcal, and compared to this standard, the girls are not even taking in half of that amount.
Also the girls’ trainer revealed, “Because celebrities have to appear on broadcast, their diet should not follow that of normal people.”
After the show, netizens commented on the bulletin board, “Poor thing”, “Those are obviously like desserts tome”, “How to live eating that amount of food” etc.
